Ready for Takeoff ✈️
Behind the scenes, our pilots have been hard at work completing their required annual training a critical part of keeping our missions safe, reliable, and lifesaving.
Huge thanks to our friends at Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the Vodka for Dog People!
We received a very special $40,000 gift, and part of that support helped make something incredibly important happen this year: Pilot Training. Because behind every rescue flight is a highly trained pilot making it all possible.
Thanks to this support, four of our pilots completed advanced flight training, which is required annually. They’re now mission-ready and already flying lifesaving missions this winter. More trained pilots mean more flights and more dogs getting a second chance.
And on one of those flights, a very special pup from West Texas landed in Wyoming and was placed straight into the arms of her new mom. Moments like that are why this work matters so much. Captain Schwab was clearly so happy to hand her off to her new mom. We’re endlessly grateful to Tito’s for believing in our pilots, our partners, and the lives saved with every flight.
