Petco Love, a national nonprofit working to lead and inspire change for animals, is partnering with Dog Is My CoPilot and shelters across the country for a lifesaving shelter pet transport.
Petco Love is a nonprofit changing lives by making communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier. Since our founding in 1999 as the Petco Foundation, we’ve empowered animal welfare organizations by investing nearly $300 million in adoption and other lifesaving efforts. We’ve helped find loving homes for more than 6.5 million pets in partnership with Petco and organizations nationwide. Today, our love for pets drives us to lead with innovation, creating tools animal lovers need to reunite lost pets, and lead with passion, inspiring and mobilizing communities and our more than 4,000 animal welfare partners to drive lifesaving change alongside us.
To celebrate Petco Love’s $750,000 life changing investment, we flew ninety dogs and cats from Dallas-Fort Worth area shelters on June 5, 2021 to adoption partners in Colorado, Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. Each of these ninety animals now have the chance to be adopted into loving homes.
BOBS from Skechers™ is proud to help animals take to the skies with Dog is My CoPilot – a wonderful organization dedicated to transporting at-risk dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters to adoption centers so that they can reach their forever homes, that has saved more than 23,000 animals. Through this special non-profit, our years-long partnership with Petco Love and our philanthropic BOBS® shoe and apparel offering, we’ve been able to donate $9.3 million to help save and support over 1.7 million shelter dogs and cats—and we continue to support Petco Love’s 4,000+ animal welfare organization network to improve pets’ lives, every day.
