James brings over twenty years of expertise in capital markets, investment management, and risk analysis to the DIMC board. When not flying in a 182 out of Afton or playing with his rescue dog, Pickle, James manages his consulting and investment advisory businesses while also serving as a financial expert for a leading AI company. His background includes instrumental roles at Cerity Partners and First Western Trust, where he helped grow their Jackson-based wealth planning and investment practices.

Earlier in his career, James co-founded Thermopolis Partners, LLC, where he managed trading and portfolio strategy. He began his career in investment banking at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin in New York City, focusing on corporate valuations and debt restructuring. James holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Vermont and continues to support his alma mater as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Grossman School of Business. Having called Jackson home for two decades, James is honored to apply his financial acumen to ensure DIMC continues to unite dogs and cats with loving families around the country.
