50,000 Lives Saved. $50,000 Match to Keep Flying.

DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT: HELP US FLY THE NEXT 50,000

We’ve flown 50,000 shelter animals to safety. Now, we need your help to fly the next 50,000.

Today, we’re celebrating 50,000 lives saved and looking ahead to the next 50,000. To help us keep flying, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the Vodka for Dog People and the Lulu’s Fund are each donating $25,000 to be matched dollar for dollar, up to $50,000 through December 1. That means your gift can go twice as far to fuel lifesaving flights, reach overcrowded shelters and help us continue providing transport at no cost to the 200+ partners we serve.

“Reaching 50,000 shelter animals flown to safety is a milestone I never imagined when I started Dog Is My CoPilot. I’m incredibly grateful and humbled by the support of Tito’s Handmade Vodka and The Lulu’s Fund, and especially by their generosity in helping us launch this match to fly the next 50,000.”

— Dr. Peter Rork, Founder, Dog Is My CoPilot

50,000 Lives Saved. And We’re Just Getting Started.

Since 2012, Dog Is My CoPilot has been giving shelter animals a second chance, connecting overcrowded shelter with rescue partners and communities where they have a better chance of finding a home.  What started with one plane has grown into three aircrafts, more than 8,000 animals transported every year and and nationwide network of 200 + Shetler and rescue partners.  There are still shelters facing overcrowding. And there are still dogs and cats waiting for someone to give them a chance.

We have to keep flying.

“I’m proud of how far we’ve come as an organization, but I know there are still thousands of animals waiting in shelters who need our help. We have to keep flying.”

— Dr. Peter Rork, Founder, Dog Is My CoPilot

From Shelter to Second Chance

Every flight begins with a need and every flight is provided at no cost to the shelters and rescue organizations we serve. Your support makes that possible.

It helps put fuel in our planes, train the pilots who fly them, coordinate each mission, and give us the ability to reach the animals and communities that need our services. The Stories Behind 50,000

Meet Bailey, the dog making history with Dog Is My CoPilot. After arriving at Norman Animal Welfare with her seven puppies, Bailey watched them all find homes. After 118 days in the shelter, it was finally her turn! Bailey boarded Dog Is My CoPilot’s milestone flight alongside more than 70 other dogs and cats, traveling from Oklahoma to Oregon, where she was welcomed by Street Dog Hero.

Happy Tails

The number 50,000 is powerful. But the real story is in the individual lives behind it. This year has brought countless moments that remind us why we do this work. Each dog and cat we transport represents a life changed and a new beginning made possible through a community of shelters, rescue organizations, pilots, volunteers, adopters, and supporters.

These happy tails are a reminder of what we can accomplish together.

Thank You for Flying With Us

We are deeply grateful to Tito’s Handmade Vodka the Vodka for Dog People and the Lulu’s Fund for standing behind this mission. Their generous support helps make these lifesaving flights possible and allows us to continue reaching animals in communities where they need us most.

And to everyone who has donated, flown, coordinated, volunteered, fostered, adopted, shared a story, or simply believed in what we do:

Thank you. We’re proud of what this small team accomplishes every day. And we’re even more grateful to have you alongside us.

Because at the end of the day, this mission isn’t just about flying.

It’s about giving animals the second chances they deserve.

50,000 lives saved.
One flight at a time.

Now, let’s fly the next 50,000.
