James Oliphant

Volunteer Pilot

James Oliphant is a Commercial, Multi Instrument rated pilot who is a Caravan Flight Instructor at Flight Safety International in Wichita. Prior to FSI, James flew for a FedEx Feeder carrier flying the Caravan in the Central US. He is a partner with two other gentlemen in a 1986 Mooney 201 and is part of the Mooney Caravan to Oshkosh Board of Directors. In his spare time, James uses his music education degrees as the Music Director for the Delano Wind Ensemble in Wichita. James has had many dogs over the years with his favorite, Chester the Pug passing away after 16 + years of spoiled life with James and his wife Marie. The opportunity to help other future pets find their new home inspires James to fly for DIMC in that quest.
