Celebrating a Year of Life-Saving Flights: 2025 in Review
As 2025 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible year we’ve had at Dog Is My CoPilot and it’s all thanks to our extraordinary pilots, team members, shelter and rescue partners, and generous supporters like you.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka Gift Helps Dog Is My CoPilot Save More Dogs (And Cats Too!)
On Saturday, October 4th, the Driggs Reed Memorial Airport was buzzing with joy as a Dog Is My CoPilot (DIMC) rescue flight landed carrying more than 60 dogs. The plane’s arrival marked a special celebration, DIMC received a $40,000 gift from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the Vodka for Dog People, to support El Paso transport flights and DIMC’s Pilot Training Program.

From Floodwaters to Forever Homes: Celebrating Our 40,000th Passenger
At Dog Is My CoPilot, every flight we take is a mission of love and last month was no exception. While we were responding to the catastrophic floods in Central Texas, helping move shelter pets out of harm’s way, we also celebrated a major milestone: flying our 40,000th passenger to safety.

We’re proud to once again partner with the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole for Old Bill’s Fun Run, and this year, our hearts are full of gratitude for the local heroes making it all possible.

Soaring into Summer: A Mid-Year Look at Our Lifesaving Work
This summer, Dog Is My CoPilot took on our largest rescue mission yet and thanks to our generous supporters and partners, it was a massive success. In partnership with Palm Valley Animal Society in South Texas and Brandywine Valley SPCA in Delaware, we coordinated a special MEGA flight, using two of our aircraft to transport over 100 shelter pets across the country.

Celebrate Pilot Peter’s Birthday and Save Twice the Lives!
Each year, when our founder and Chief Pilot Dr. Peter Rork blows out his birthday candles, he makes one wish… to help save more shelter pets! This May, we hope you’ll join us to honor his birthday wish with a donation to help keep our aircrafts ‘Wheels Up!’ saving shelter pets.

The Big Dog in Action: Rescue Flights that Save Lives
This winter, The Big Dog has been soaring through the skies, completing dozens of flights and covering thousands of miles to support our shelter partners. Along the way, we’ve picked up hundreds of furry friends and safely delivered them to loving homes. One special passenger we’re excited to introduce is a sweet senior poodle who’s experienced quite the journey to happiness.

Dog Is My CoPilot: Saving Lives, One Flight at a Time in 2025
As we soar into 2025, Dog Is My CoPilot (DIMC) has been busier than ever, flying thousands of miles to save animals in need. From responding to the devastating wildfires in Southern California to expanding our partnerships across the country, we remain deeply committed to giving homeless pets a second chance.
